The Burns family practice was established by Dr Barry Burns following his graduation from the University of Waterloo and has been serving Eastern Mainland Nova Scotia and Cape Breton since 1987.
The optometric practice operates on a full time basis in the Port Hawkesbury location and has established outreach clinics in Cheticamp and Baddeck. Burns Vision is a full scope optometric practice dedicated to providing vision care to adults and children in a friendly, patient centered and professional atmosphere. The practice offers the latest in computerized diagnostic equipment with a large selection of frames and contact lenses to accommodate patients’ budget and lifestyle. The knowledgeable staff possess a combined 130 years of optometric and optical experience with 2 Optometrists 3 Licensed Opticians and 3 Certified Optometric Assistants on staff.
