Due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19, Burns Vision Centre has made the decision to close all three clinic locations (Port Hawkesbury, Baddeck and St. Joseph du Moine) to all non-essential eye services until further notice. We feel that it is our responsibility as health care providers to do everything we can in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19. We will be in touch to reschedule all eye exams.
If you have an urgent eye related issue one of our staff members will be answering calls from 10am-3pm, Monday-Friday in an attempt to try and lessen the burden on emergency rooms in hospitals. You can reach them by calling 902-625-2065

*Reminder that any individual showing any flu-like symptoms or anyone who has travelled internationally/has been around someone who has travelled internationally should be in self-isolation for 14 days with no symptoms before entering any public spaces. If there is an ocular emergency involving these individuals it is crucial that this information be shared before being seen or entering the premises.*
